Beyond our stage

CETA
Festival

One of the highlights of the TVHS Theatre year.

CETA gives our students the opportunity to step outside their own theatre program and spend time immersed in the larger high school theatre community. Students connect with fellow high school thespians, experience performances and workshops, see what other schools are creating, and come home with new ideas, inspiration, and memories. And yes — it’s also a whole lot of fun.

The festival experience

What to Expect

A Full Theatre Experience

Students spend the event surrounded by theatre — attending performances, participating in activities and workshops, and experiencing the creativity of other high school theatre programs.

Connect & Be Inspired

It’s a chance to meet other student performers and theatre kids, support their work, see what other schools are creating, and be part of a much larger theatre community.

Transportation & Logistics

District transportation is available for this event. Specific departure times, return times, permission requirements, and other trip details will be shared with participating families as the event approaches.

Families make it happen

Want to Be Part of It?

CETA is also a great opportunity for families to get involved. Parent support helps make these experiences possible and keeps our students fueled, supported, and ready for a very full theatre day.

  • Attend as an approved parent volunteer/chaperone when opportunities are available
  • Donate individually packaged snacks and drinks
  • Help provide meals or other requested food items
  • Help with event-day logistics as needs arise

Volunteer and donation needs will be shared with families as we get closer to the event.

CETA is more than a field trip. It’s an opportunity for our students to see themselves as part of a bigger theatre community — to learn, connect, cheer on other young artists, and bring that inspiration back to TVHS.
