Every Family Can
Make a Difference

The strength of our theatre program isn't measured only by what happens on stage—it's also built by the families who support our students behind the scenes.

You don’t have to do everything. If every theatre family does one small thing, together we can create something extraordinary for our students.

TVHS Theatre thrives because of the support of our families. Whether you have an hour to give, love to bake, enjoy working behind the scenes, have a professional skill or creative talent to share, or simply want to help spread the word about our students’ work, there is a place for you.

No contribution is too small. There are many ways to be part of the theatre community, and we would love to help you find one that fits your time, interests, and resources.

Ways to get involved

Find Your Place in
Our Theatre Family

Production Support

Help bring productions to life.

  • Prop Donations
  • Event Tables
  • Costume Donations
  • Set Strike & Clean Up
  • Other Behind-the-Scenes Needs
  • Help Fill the House — Bring Family & Friends

Concessions & Hospitality

Some of the easiest ways to help happen right in your own kitchen or on performance night.

  • Donate concession items
  • Bake treats for Cabaret or Improv
  • Help sell concessions
  • Work an event or welcome table
  • Help with merchandise or fundraising sales
  • Create specialty fundraising items, such as script flowers for performances

Feed the Cast & Crew

Long rehearsals, Tech Week, performances, and festivals mean hungry students.

  • Provide or contribute toward Tech Week meals
  • Donate snacks or drinks
  • Provide food for festivals
  • Donate desserts or baked goods
  • Connect us with restaurants or businesses willing to donate or sponsor meals

Share Your Talents

Have a skill, hobby, profession, connection, or special interest that might help the program? We would love to hear about it.

  • Photography
  • Videography
  • Graphic design
  • Marketing and social media
  • Carpentry, painting, or sewing
  • Event planning and fundraising
  • Business partnerships and printing
  • Technology, grant writing, or accounting
  • Or something we haven’t thought of yet

Be a Theatre Ambassador

Supporting the program does not always require volunteering at an event. One of the simplest ways families can help is by building awareness and growing our audiences.

  • Invite family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to performances
  • Share TVHS Theatre social media posts
  • Share show announcements
  • Help distribute or display production posters in the community where permitted
  • Tell others about upcoming performances and events
  • Encourage people to see what TVHS students are creating

Financial & Material Support

Not everyone has time available to volunteer, and that is completely okay.

  • Donate supplies
  • Make a financial contribution
  • Sponsor a production or event
  • Support fundraisers
  • Purchase spirit wear or fundraising items
  • Connect the Boosters with potential community sponsors or business partners

Have an Idea?
We Want to Hear It.

Some of our best support comes from parents who simply say, “I can help with that.”

If you have a special talent, creative idea, business connection, resource, or interest that isn't listed here, please reach out. All interests and ideas are welcome.

Every family has something valuable to offer. We would love your support — and we would love to help you find the right fit.
